Jessie Waters Wood, 84 died Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Candler Hospital. She was born in Savannah, daughter of the late Clinton A. and Florence Leggett Waters. Mrs. Wood graduated from Commercial High School and attended Draughon's Business College. She retired from First Union Bank and was a former member of Riverside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Wood and son, Robert A. "Bobby" Wood, Jr.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Steven A. and Belinda Wood of Savannah; daughter and son-in-law, Janice W. and Larry Foskey of Toccoa, GA; five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 1, 2013 in Bonaventure Cemetery conducted by her grandson, Reverend Brian Foskey.
